In a landmark collaboration aimed at elevating educational standards, IVY International Schools has joined forces with Ain Shams University. This initiative was formalized through the signing of a cooperation protocol by Prof. Dr. Omar El-Husseiny, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Gamal Diefalla, Chairman of IVY STEM International Schools, in partnership with Harmony Schools, USA. The agreement is proudly sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University.
The partnership focuses on several key areas to enhance STEM education. It will provide comprehensive teacher training, enabling IVY educators to effectively utilize the Faculty of Engineering’s state-of-the-art laboratories. Additionally, specialized STEM courses will be offered to help educators obtain the official "A License," essential for teaching at the institution.
Students will also benefit from academic mentorship, as university teaching assistants will support their scientific projects. Furthermore, the collaboration will facilitate student visits to Ain Shams University, allowing them to engage in summer training programs within the university’s facilities.
This strategic alliance aligns with Egypt’s National Strategy for Science, Technology, and Innovation 2030, strengthening the vital link between universities and schools to foster a new generation of innovators in STEM fields.
